Sohoton Cave is known as one of the extraordinary spots in the Philippines specifically in Samar Province. Experiencing Sohotton Cave was one of the most unforgettable moment I had during that Regional Shout. What was amazing about is was that we didn’t just go there and roam around to enjoy the view and feel the Love of God through Mother Nature but we were there to let God feel our love for him through helping our mother nature.

The new program of CFC-Youth For Christ called “Greenereation” which was launched during the last ILC was felt during our trip to Sohoton. It took us hours of travel by boating and trekking just to reach where we were heading.As we reach the place, we were at awe of nature's beauty and majesty. We talk and listen to each views in taking good care of the nature. Alfred as our speaker lead us to the session in where we draw our dreams for mother earth. As we share each others drawings and dreams for this earth, everyone was just happy enjoying the place and the nature. After then we were given a seedling to plant in the area near the river by the cave. Everyone is just so excited to plant that by then have their to dig holes ,plant and fetch water. Some did even named their plant like a felling close pet. And that just made me smile how everyone loves nature.
As the tree planting ends, we just hope that what we've planted will grow and multilpy in the years to come. We then enjoy the cave and spring of the nature upon us which make us realized such nature pays back its goodness.

Greeneration might be just a simple program for others but for me it is not. What strucked me most was the fact that I am serving the Lord at the same time I am helping my country in saving mother earth. With our Youth’s of today only few of them knows what is happening with our surroundings. Decreasing mother earth is visible everywhere, but during our trip to Sohoton it was amazing how God reminded me of Life’s simplicity. It took me a while to realize how beautiful our surroundings are but we neglected it. He reminded me of something I am accountable to. As I’ve experienced Sohoton I Felt Gods Loves. -Jessa YFC leyte

“I pray that may the trees that we planted be an instrument on change in people’s lives and may they see and feel Gods creation as a symbol of love”. As this generation continues to live and love the very creation GOD created since day one, it will always be a better place in such a Home.
