Man and his Heart

Jeremiah 17:5-10

Thus says the LORD:
Cursed is the man who trusts in human beings,
who seeks his strength in flesh,
whose heart turns away from the LORD.
He is like a barren bush in the desert
that enjoys no change of season,
But stands in a lava waste,
a salt and empty earth.
Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD,
whose hope is the LORD.
He is like a tree planted beside the waters
that stretches out its roots to the stream:
It fears not the heat when it comes,
its leaves stay green;
In the year of drought it shows no distress,
but still bears fruit.
More tortuous than all else is the human heart,
beyond remedy; who can understand it?
I, the LORD, alone probe the mind
and test the heart,
To reward everyone according to his ways,
according to the merit of his deeds.

Battle Cry of LENT

40 days of fasting and praying maybe new to me as i take it seriously to this time of my life right now.Maybe my Age=27 is quite challenge to do and to love this offering to Lent. so far,so good. And so far,GOD is very good.
Lent for me is always a victorious celebration of what happen a 10thousands years ago.
Jesus Christ our Lord already conquered the battle! And for us and me its always a cliche that we too shout this Lent's battle cry . i shout it in 3 battle cries.

First: Prayer = as John Bosco says "Pray as you work,Work as you pray". that wherever we are and whatever we are doin, we are in the posture of Prayer. The best prayer Jesus taught us is the "OUR FATHER".
praying the OUR FATHER teaches us 1.to see GOD as ABBA. As a father,he knows exactly what we want and we desire. That's why it is right to be just honest and true in our prayers because a Father knows what his Son really is,even from a far.
2.It also teaches us to Submit to him.Above of all what we pray we must accept and submit to his answers which is the following a.Yes b.No c.Yes,Yes,Yes d. No,No,No, e.yes,but not now f. THY will be done.

Second: Fasting: to see GOD as a provident father.
i remember a brother share to us of whats the difference between being Hungry and Hunger.i reply to my sit mate in such a humor saying " of course,the spelling.haha". But as i reflect on his question, i did somehow feel being hungry and much more feel the Hunger. Being hungry is when you want what suffices you,hunger is when you wait of the things that suffices you. I then answer that GOD is good, bcoz He never let us being hungry and hunger ever since,he just provide in his perfect time.
To fast is to hunger while hungry of the Love of Christ. this also means to share his love to our much more hungry and hunger brothers and sisters.

Third: to be Generous : that he is a compassionate and loving father.
above all what we have,i believe we can give more. Giving ourselves to difficult people and loving them beyond what we taught we only can.to love them, is to forgive them and to accept and pray for them. i believe these kinda people needs more of what our share of Christ love.we should be available to be generous to our poor brethren.We always seek to love and pray for them beyond of what our limits can stretch. just us our Lord Christ Jesus stretch out his very hands on the cross.

And in our battle cry in these Lent may we experience GOD more.

Perhaps these are your last status on FB my bro. You will be again going on a journey long away from home. Traveling afar again as you work on and by the seas.
I guess 10 months went well as a very good vacation.Indeed!
May i sum it all up with just these words - Missing Love,Truth vs Lies,separation,Denial,broke-up,wander!,HURTing,questions and questions never end,someone to tell it to,someone new, New beliefs(SFC clp,yeah at last),searching,praying,believing,raising and worshiping,enjoying new friends(brosNsis),loving again,and then missing work,apply again, waiting for a call for work,finally travelNwork again,missing home again,living the life.
hmmm,quite long journey as you continue on....

I know what had happen to you and i know that it is not easy at all. Hope i did help you in your journey as well. I honor you for being a brother, kuya and somehow like father Sr. i thank you for your love and care.Ive always pray to GOD that he will take good care and bless you more in your lifetime. And i thank GOD for blessing me for such a loving brother.you are always in my prayers.
